Day 1 – Arriving & Glencoe Lochan Trail

Having been to Glencoe briefly last year when we walked the West Highland Way this was our top choice of camping locations to surround ourselves with luscious woodlands, towering mountains, and stunning sea lochs – the best of what Scotland has to offer.

The route we had planned was not the usual which made planning just a bit more difficult, we would not be starting from Calton Hill and we would be doing it clockwise. Even after living here for so long it turns out navigating areas of the city you’ve never been to between major points does not just come naturally. The night before, having compared multiple routes from some very helpful people we had a route mapped out and ready.
